Safe & The City aim to make sexual harassment a thing of past, and help build safer, smarter cities.
They provide a free personal safety navigation app to route, share and rate walks and runs. Wherever you’re headed (initially in London), start a trip and get there safely with Safe & The City.
Safe & The City uses data from the Metropolitan police and crowdsourced reports to help you choose safe routes and to be aware of reported risks.
If you are in an Emergency, there is a 2-click access to quickly contact 999 to reach the appropriate Emergency Services.
We think the combination of TrainAsONE and Safe & The City can enable people to run more safely, and we’d like to encourage everyone to take advantage of Safe & The City to both find safer running routes, and to feed back after your journeys to help others.
Safe & The City have just finished a crowdfunding campaign (28th November) to help them enhance and expand their service beyond London. Why not find out more on how you can help to create safer navigation, transform communities and share the cause beyond London.
